Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled English Educator to join our team.

About the Job

  • This is a full-time position that involves teaching English to primary and secondary level international school students.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing lesson plans, updating teaching materials, and practicing questions for students.
  • He/She must also maintain regular communication with parents on academic performance and progress of students.
  • Additionally, the educator will be expected to moderate safety and hygiene in the classroom.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree from a relevant field.
  • They should have experience in teaching students in primary or secondary level.
  • A passion for teaching and motivating students is essential.
  • Applicants should be able to conduct lessons in an easy-to-understand way.
  • They must be confident in handling small class sizes of up to 6 students at one time.
  • Familiarity with the Singapore education system and exams (AEIS, PSLE, O-Level, A-Level etc.) is required.
  • Familiarity with the international school education system and exams is a plus.
  • Applicants should be able to speak in Mandarin to handle queries from Mandarin speaking parents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Candidates should be able to work independently as well as collaborate with other teachers.
  • Working on weekends is mandatory.
