This course is an introduction to writing for the media and communications industry. You will guide students to explore the ways in which writing for media and communication is evolving in line with technological and social change.
Students will develop skills and strategies in writing in the style and tone used across media and communication roles, including principles of grammar, punctuation, and editing. Students will produce documents appropriate for use across print and digital media, applying the professional writing principles of accuracy, style/presentation, content/relevance, and timeliness.
Job Requirements
A Ph. D or Master's Degree in a Communication-related discipline from a reputable university.
At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred.
5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage.
Applicant must be able to teach daytime classes.

SIM-RMIT is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly motivated, and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates must be able to handle a sizeable class, manage assessment marking, and provide constructive feedback to students within a given timeline.
