We're searching for a Principal Engineer to be part of our Etch diverse team of talent. You will be responsible for managing the integration of all modules' processes and the respective derivatives.

What you will be working on:

  • To sustain, develop and optimize process capability to meet operations goals, as well as manage a group of Engineers and Associate Engineers, if necessary.
  • Establish plans and strategies to optimize process capability to meet operations requirements.
  • Establish plans and procedures for Lots Disposition.
  • Spearhead projects to improve quality, cost, and throughput.
  • Forecast financial budgets for test wafers and process-related expenditure.
  • Ensure productivity improvement through process optimization.
  • Document, implement, and report process capability and work with equipment Engineers to maximize productivity of the equipment.
  • Set-up projects to upkeep process capabilities and reliabilities.
  • Start-up new processes which involve process characterization and development.
  • Troubleshoot process issues, establish SOP to be followed and work with other departments to create new recipes.
  • Liaise with both internal and external customers to improve yield and quality.
  • Facilitate in 10K Ideas/LSS/BKM programs to improve process capability.
  • Perform appraisals and map career paths for subordinates, if any.
  • Organize and provide training and guidance to Engineers and Associate Engineers to achieve maximum performance effectiveness.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab.
  • Liaise with vendors to solve process issues and improve tool performance.
  • Responsible for recipe availability, control, and documentation.
  • Monitor OOC's and DOS's and troubleshoot recurring OOCs.

More about you:

  • MSc/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Physics.
  • 4 - 8 years relevant experience in sub-micron wafer fab preferred.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft business applications.
  • Good team player and has strong leadership qualities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility.
  • Able to take pressure under time-constrained situations.
  • Detail-oriented.
