Key Responsibilities
Perform a range of massage therapies, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and hot stone massages.
Provide facials, body scrubs, and other spa treatments based on client needs and spa offerings.
Assess client needs and recommend appropriate treatments for relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
Maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil spa environment in accordance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
Ensure proper use of spa equipment and products to provide high-quality services.
Educate clients on aftercare, wellness tips, and suitable spa products.
Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and best practices in spa and wellness treatments.
Work closely with other spa professionals to create a seamless and luxurious experience for all guests.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Certification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of different massage techniques and spa treatments.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to create a relaxing and comfortable environment for clients.
Professional attitude with a focus on hygiene and client safety.
Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Ability to customize treatments based on individual client needs.
Basic knowledge of skincare and wellness products is a plus.
Experience
Minimum
1-3 years
of experience as a
Spa & Massage Therapist
in a reputable spa, wellness center, or hotel.
Experience in working with an international clientele is an advantage.
Knowledge of traditional and modern spa treatments is preferred.
Working Hours
Full-time position with flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Standard working hours:
40-48 hours per week
(varies based on business needs).
Rotational shifts to ensure a balanced workload.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of
anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques .
Knowledge of
essential oils, spa products, and holistic therapies .
Ability to handle client concerns with professionalism and confidentiality.
