We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Specialist for our Asset Management team in Tuas South Refinery. Responsibilities Ensure that all rotating equipment and systems (e.g., pumps, compressors, agitators, fans) are installed and maintained in accordance with recognized good engineering practices, guided by relevant codes, standards, published technical reports, and recommended practices. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Operations/Technical) across Singapore and other Neste sites, and with external stakeholders including suppliers and experts, to ensure effective maintenance and reliability activities pertaining to rotating equipment and systems, thereby ensuring safe and reliable operations. Partner with the Rotating Engineer for the establishment and effective implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance programs and plans, utilizing effective tools, best practices, and procedures. Coordinate and participate in all refinery safety programs. Contribute to the improvement and implementation of the site Reliability Strategy, develop and execute Maintenance and Reliability work processes, and support the delivery of the site's High Reliability culture. Initiate and raise Management of Change (MOC) for proposed equipment improvement. Work with the Maintenance team by providing 2nd line troubleshooting for rotating equipment. Work with the Maintenance team to eliminate bad actors by recommending cost‐effective repair, replacement, or re‐engineering solutions; implement defect elimination strategies based on root‐cause insights. Conduct and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures. Develop a Spare Parts Strategy with the Rotating Equipment Engineer and Maintenance teams. Ensure the Data Management System is kept up to date, including service reports, vibration trends, and RCA reports. Ensure implementation of predictive condition monitoring programs to track equipment health, facilitate data collection for integration into Reliability‐Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs, and recommend remedial, preventive, or improvement actions. Optimize rotating equipment maintenance strategies based on RCA outcomes and performance trending. Work with the Rotating Engineer to develop inspection, repair, or overhaul scopes. Review performance measures and maintenance information within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)/SAP for trending and frequency analysis to identify issues related to equipment performance and breakdown analyses. Act as the Single Point of Authority (SPA) from the Rotating team to provide technical review and recommendation for CAPEX projects. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering with demonstrated problem‐solving skills. Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a refinery and petrochemical process technical environment, focused on rotating equipment. Essential prior experience in Turnarounds (TAs) and maintenance execution. Proficient in vibration and lube oil analysis. Basic knowledge of rotating equipment petrochemical standards, including ASME and API. Demonstrates a responsible attitude and a strong safety‐oriented mindset. Keys to Success Strong engineering foundation with mechanical background. Hands‐on experience in predictive maintenance planning and execution. Ability to collaborate cross‐functionally with operations, maintenance, safety, and suppliers. Excellent problem‐solving skills and initiative‐driven mindset.
