Junior Communication

About the Role We are looking for a Junior Communication & Digital Designer to join our growing team. This is a hands‐on role where you will contribute to both visual communication and digital product design across branding, websites, UX/UI, and multi‐channel creative work. As part of long‐term, multifaceted projects, you will take ownership of specific tasks or sub‐streams, working closely with senior designers, project leads, and cross‐functional teams. You'll support the creation of user‐centered digital experiences, develop visual concepts, and help maintain high design standards throughout all phases of a project. This role is ideal for someone with strong visual instincts, a passion for customer‐centric design, a curiosity for storytelling, and a desire to grow in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. What You'll Do User Research & Strategic Support Contribute to research activities to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Support the synthesis of insights to inform design decisions and creative direction. Participate in brainstorming sessions, workshops, and early‐stage concept development. UX/UI & Digital Design Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high‐fidelity interface designs for web and mobile products. Work within established design systems to maintain consistency across digital touchpoints. Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and stakeholder input. Communication, Branding & Visual Design Assist in developing visual concepts aligned with creative briefs and project objectives. Support branding, graphic design, layout design, and environmental/wayfinding tasks. Prepare design assets for internal reviews, client presentations, or production. Interaction Design & Prototyping Develop interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Framer, or Adobe XD. Collaborate with developers and production teams to ensure smooth handoff and implementation. Usability Testing & Optimisation Help plan and support usability tests. Organise and interpret feedback to contribute to improvements in overall user experience. Design Systems, Documentation & Production Contribute to the maintenance and organisation of design system components and guidelines. Prepare files, assets, and documentation for print, digital development, or production. Collaboration & Teamwork Work closely with senior designers, project directors, and cross‐functional stakeholders. Embrace feedback with a positive attitude and integrate it into your work. Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Working knowledge of Figma, Framer, or Adobe XD. Understanding of user‐centered design principles and digital design fundamentals. Strong visual communication skills in typography, layout, and composition. Bonus: basic motion, video editing, or prototyping experience. Qualifications Degree in Communication Design, Digital Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 0–3 years of professional or internship experience in communication design, UX/UI, branding, or digital design. A portfolio showcasing relevant academic, freelance, or professional work.
