– Energy Centre of Innovation (“ECOI”), is the Singapore National Centre of Innovation for Energy, set up by Enterprise Singapore and NTU. Our aim is to provide technical and business support to local start-ups and SMEs in energy and sustainability, including product or service co-development, test-bedding, incubation, and market expansion.
– Energy Centre of Innovation (“ECOI”) is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to support and sustainability projects for local SMEs and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide digitalization support as part of the ECOI team, liaising with clients and partners to deliver digital solutions and sustainability services.
Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines for processing EL images.
Develop and integrate algorithms for image correction, stitching, and exposure alignment to create composite images.
Build and train machine learning models to detect PV defects such as hotspots and microcracks.
Prepare data, build AI models, and handle testing, validation, and deployment for reliable AI solutions.
Integrate processed data into software platforms for continuous model improvement.
Analyze model performance across different PV system conditions and iterate for higher accuracy.
Collaborate with project and hardware teams to align imaging outputs with AI processing needs.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related fields.
At least 3 years of industry experience managing complex projects, particularly in technology, robotics, or renewable energy sectors.
Experience with agile project management methodologies.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multidisciplinary tasks and resolve cross-functional challenges.
Experience with autonomous robots and PV-related projects is a plus.
Knowledge of risk assessment and quality control in tech environments.
