Our platform serves as a hub for various research opportunities such as scholarships, fellowships, conferences, grants, and competitions, aiming to foster collaboration between students and scholars. As we gear up for an upcoming launch, we are excited to welcome a VP of Engineering (with Investment) to our team for a part-time remote position.In this role, you will take charge of overseeing engineering projects, leading the development team, managing software development processes, and spearheading product development efforts. Your responsibilities will also include strategic planning and close collaboration with other departments to ensure the successful execution of projects.To excel in this role, you should possess strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills, backed by a solid background in Software Development and Product Development. Project Management expertise, coupled with robust problem-solving and decision-making abilities, will be crucial for your success. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team and across departments. Previous experience in the education or social networking industry would be advantageous. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred for this position.,
