Job Details Posting Start Date: 29/09/2025Schemes of Service: Corporate Division: Office of SITizen Experience Employment Type: Temporary Seniority level: Not Applicable Job function: Administrative Industries: Higher Education Job Description The Assistant Manager (Temp) at OSE is responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing key student development initiatives. The role involves daily operations, project management, student development, and partnership management. It supports the division's six core pillars: Campus Connection, Campus Life, Leadership, Wellness, SITizen Services, and Alumni, creating a holistic educational environment to enrich and empower SITizens. Job Responsibilities Manage student groups and mentor student leaders in clubs and committees under Campus Life through continuous learning. Build student relationships and develop leadership qualities by engaging them in programme-based and special interest activities. Collaborate with faculty members to improve students' learning experiences. Assist in major events such as SITizens Awards Night, HOD engagement sessions, New Leaders' Briefing, and other campus engagement events. Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and policies during events, training, planning, and procurement. Oversee administrative tasks, including budgeting; ensure all expenditures adhere to allocated limits and relevant guidelines. Handle ad hoc projects and work with committees as assigned by Team Leads and the Director of OSE. Job Requirements Tertiary qualification in any discipline; at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position in an educational, community, or corporate environment is an advantage. Strong planning, organisational, and coordinating capabilities with good administrative skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and bridge students with staff. Adaptable, able to multitask and work independently within tight timelines. Willingness to work outside office hours and on weekends. Creative thinking, adaptability, and strong conflict management skills. Committed team player, responsible, reliable, and able to work with others to achieve the division's mission.
