Job Description
As the Senior IT Specialist at Klook, you will lead and manage the IT operations across multiple regional offices. You will be responsible for driving technology excellence, ensuring infrastructure reliability, and aligning IT strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
IT Strategy: Develop and execute the regional IT strategy in alignment with Klook's overall technology roadmap and business goals.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of IT professionals across different regional offices. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and scalability of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud systems, and end-user devices.
Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to service level agreements.
Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard data and systems. Ensure regional IT operations adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
Project Management: Lead IT projects, including software implementations, hardware upgrades, and system integrations, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.
Support and Issue Resolution: Provide prompt technical support to regional offices, addressing IT issues and concerns to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity.
Budgeting: Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT management, including multi-site or regional leadership roles.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on talent development.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and best practices.
Proven experience in project management with a successful track record of delivering IT projects.
Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Adaptability to stay current with evolving technology trends and meet changing business needs.
