Job Description & Requirements Gaia Environment specialises in providing sustainability solutions to the organisations. We are looking for a junior sales trader to join our teamThe junior sales trader will co‐develop and manage business relations regionally and globally with our business partners to bring in sales. Your duties will include providing support in sourcing & selling carbon credits, Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and other environmental attributes. Ideally, you should have some basic knowledge of carbon credit & REC markets. The position requires communication, business development skills, networking skills and a functional understanding of sustainability and the carbon and REC markets. Main Responsibilities Developing and expanding the company's portfolio of carbon credits, RECs and other environmental attributes. Support in the purchase and sale of carbon credits and RECs. Conducting market research. Identify market trend and new business opportunities. Supporting operations in the Company's sustainability business. Conducting deliveries, retirements, and issuance of carbon credits, RECs and other environmental attributes. Requirements Based in Singapore Holds a University Degree. Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or with relevance to Sustainability will be advantageous. Competent at Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Independent and self‐motivated Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Meticulous and have a good attention to details Have excellent communications skills in verbal and written English. (Fluency in other languages as well would be advantageous).
