Join our team as a Member of Technical Staff (Backend Engineer) and help build the core infrastructure powering our AI-native products. In this role, you’ll design and implement scalable systems, robust APIs, and secure data pipelines that support cutting-edge ML workflows. Your work will be foundational to delivering fast, reliable, and intelligent user experiences.
As a Member of Technical Staff (Backend Engineer), you will:
Architect and build distributed backend systems and APIs
Design infrastructure that supports high-throughput data and model workflows
Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring AI-native products to life
Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability across services
Own systems end-to-end—from design and implementation to monitoring and iteration
You may be a good fit if you have:
Experience building backend systems in production environments
Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and system reliability
Proficiency in Python and experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Familiarity with containerization, serverless, or event-driven architectures
A collaborative and pragmatic approach to solving complex technical problems
The ability to move quickly in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
