For more information, please visit Job Description The Programme Executive (Outreach and Engagement) works with assigned centres to execute programmes that facilitate interactions and engagement between the community and clients/caregivers. The role involves working with community partners and volunteers to support outreach and engagement activities, guiding centres and volunteers in programme execution, and establishing relationships with volunteers, grassroots organisations, and community partners to fulfill MINDS\' vision of outreach and serving the unserved and underserved segment of the ID population in Singapore through the centre\'s operations. The Programme Executive is responsible for planning, designing and coordinating activities and programmes to promote active participation, meaningful engagement and learning of clients from the Centre with the community partners and volunteers. The role involves close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, including Allied Health Professionals such as Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, and/or Speech Language Therapist, and Training Officers when designing programmes. These programmes can be conducted at the centre or outside of the centres. Key Skills and Qualities The Programme Executive should have strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills. They should be able to work well independently and in a team with integrity, sensitivity, knowledge and drive to support and advocate for clients with intellectual disability. Responsibilities Develop and establish professional or social networks with the local community to leverage community resources and volunteers to meet the needs of clients in the centre. Maintain and manage relationships with community stakeholders for sustained volunteerism and opportunities for clients in community participation, integration and inclusion. Implement, review and evaluate programme impact on service users; identify and analyse trends and needs in disability service development. Share findings on relevant internal or external platforms to ensure relevance in service or sector improvement. Design and plan programmes/ activities to promote learning, participation and meaningful engagement between clients and the community and volunteers. Identify gaps and areas of improvement for programmes/ activities. Execute schedules and programmes for clients and caregivers in the community inclusive space; provide orientation, recognition and retention of volunteers and community partners. Ensure safety and well-being of community partners, volunteers and clients during programme activities, including risk assessment and management. Execute work processes to ensure smooth running of the Community Inclusive Space, including retail, workshop and drop-in centre operations. Qualifications Minimum Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services or related fields with at least 2 years working experience. Other Information Experienced Training Officers or Teaching Aides with an interest in Programme / Curriculum planning are welcome to apply. A strong team-player with excellent people skills. Possesses strong organisation skills. Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. A self-motivated, independent and adaptable individual.
