Key Job Accountabilities
Play critical role in managing component repair operations and lead a team of service engineers and technicians
Product portfolio comprises of commercial and military aircraft engine parts repair e.g. CFM56-5B/-7B, LEAP-1A/-1B
Drive operational excellence to meet TAT, OTD, Productivity, Labour Utilization as well as Quality and Safety compliance
Allocate manpower and resources to maximize production outputs
Spearhead Continuous Improvement projects as well as Digitalization and Automation initiatives to reduce cost and drive productivity
Interface with customers and coordinate with various functions such as Sales, Customer Support, PP&C and Engineering to provide component MRO support for key engine programs
Ensure compliance of quality standards and regulations laid down by airworthiness authorities and engine OEMs
Promote a safety culture within the production team and lead environment health and safety initiatives to ensure a safe workplace
Required Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering
Candidate holding other Engineering degree will also be considered
Prior experience in aircraft engine component repair operations is an advantage
Proven leadership track record with strong ability to drive and deliver results
Highly motivated and self-directed with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good team player with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and analytical skills
