Role PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT As a Production Superintendent you are accountable for and manage all topside Production discipline activities on board. You manage the Production department for the unit. Role Requirements In order to Safely meet Production targets efficiently and fulfil contractual obligations, you are to: Meet the Production Plan, safely operate the plant within design parameters as per operation manual and raise feedback/deviations when needed Collaborate with the shore base team and discipline Specialists to deliver the production plan Be a focal point for clients and vendor work in Production areas Fully collaborate and support Head of Departments (HODs) and Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) in order to achieve business objectives In order to achieve added value for clients and SBM by developing constructive relationships whilst defending SBM's interests, you are to : Be the focal point to review / implement / authorize requests from clients Manage / Support vendor work in Production areas Analyze production shortage/deferment. Identify responsibilities between SBM and client as defined in the contract. Propose corrective actions if relevant In order to effectively lead a Production Team, you are to : Ensure the Production team has clear objectives aligned with the business. Monitor and manage individual and team performances. Provide support and ensure individual and team development, training and competence is fulfilled REQUIREMENTS 3 years minimum holding position of Production Superintendent / Operations Superintendent onboard an operating FPSO. Chemical Engineering or Oil and Gas processing academic qualification. OR 15 Years experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utility systems offshore. Supervisory experience of Permit to Work, Mechanical/Electrical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment. Personal Skills Personal: Conscientious, flexible, versatile and determined. Capable of assertive and positive communication and performance. Leadership: Exemplary safety and managerial leadership skills. Good levels of written and spoken communication in English language. Clear understanding of personnel behavioural and team issues. Capable of motivating Senior staff members and teams. Flexible in applying different approaches to changing work demands IT: Operation of MMS system interface. Practical familiarity with standard 'Office' software package. Operation and use of Internet and electronic mail system.
