Vice President, Specialist Product Management - Bancassurance, Consumer Banking Group
As the General Insurance Product Manager at DBS Bank India Ltd., you will play a crucial role in managing the product programs to achieve the Banks General insurance business targets. Your responsibilities will include liaising with the regional due diligence team and in-country stakeholders to manage product approval programs across partners and products. You will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives across all distribution channels of the bank to boost the General Insurance business drive. Additionally, you will lead the execution and launch of digital initiatives for attachment based products in the general insurance sector.Working closely with General and Health insurance partners, you will contribute towards developing product programs, training programs, product placement strategies, and product content. Ensuring product content is updated and maintained across all customer-facing communications such as the website, statements, emailers, and other touchpoints will be a key part of your role. You will also be responsible for rolling out process trainings and ensuring robust process implementation for General Insurance business login, along with implementing controls and compliance measures across all distribution channels in adherence to regulatory and DBIL policy guidelines.To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of General Insurance products and lifecycle, along with the ability to closely work with and influence C Level employees. A working knowledge of digital platforms and their utilization in insurance sales is essential. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of work experience in the general insurance domain, preferably in the retail network sector, and possess excellent communication and team management skills.
