Job Responsibilities
Personnel Management
Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to perform tasks.
Adapt to business needs and be willing to work any day and shift.
Focus on tasks and complete them before moving on.
Follow work lists assigned by Chef de Partie, completing tasks within acceptable timeframes.
Participate in training and embrace learning opportunities, adhering to company philosophy.
Work calmly and efficiently, promoting good relations within the culinary team.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and pride in your work, reflected in the quality of products.
Adhere to health, safety, sanitation, and fire procedures.
Report maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain high grooming standards and good customer relations, especially in public areas.
Report to work on time and notify of sickness or absence properly.
Kitchen / Food
Monitor food production to ensure compliance with recipes and standards.
Ensure food quality and sanitation, applying FIFO and best practices.
Store food properly and maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
Use equipment safely and instruct colleagues accordingly.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Degree or Diploma in Patisserie or Bakery.
Experience
1-3 years in pastry or bakery profession.
Competencies
Identify raw materials and differentiate cuisines.
Basic cooking and sanitation knowledge.
Monitor cooking techniques and knife skills.
Professional appearance and willingness to work shifts.
