Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization Expert

We are seeking a skilled Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth through the development and implementation of innovative optimization solutions.

  • We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management is desirable, although candidates without relevant work experience but with the necessary technical skills are also welcome to apply.
  • You should have proficiency in Python or similar programming languages and SQL, as well as experience with optimization tools such as Gurobi, CPLEX, and OR-Tools.
  • Familiarity with simulation platforms like AnyLogic, FlexSim, Arena, AIMMS, and Demo 3D is also essential.
  • In addition, you should be skilled in data visualization tools such as MS Power BI and Tableau, and possess a strong command of MS Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and implement optimization models tailored to transportation and logistics contexts.
  • Develop and refine custom heuristics and metaheuristics (e.g., Tabu Search, Genetic Algorithms) to solve large-scale, real-world problems.
  • Analyze historical and real-time data to uncover insights and support decision-making.
  • Create compelling visualizations using MS Power BI and Tableau.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with commercial and open-source solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, and Google OR-Tools.
  • Skilled in data analysis and statistical techniques.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
