Overview Associate, Controller, Investment Operations (contract)role at GIC. The Investment Services Private Markets Department delivers investment services across private markets and supports finance operations throughout the investment life cycle. The team focuses on investment operations, including controllership and special purpose vehicle management for GIC’s investments. What you will do Processing daily transactions and funding requirements, updating relevant data and transactions in the accounting and management system Complete month-end/year-end closing activities, including updating market values using external financial information for the fund and direct investments Preparing accounting reconciliations, reviewing investment holding company accounts, and liaising with external auditors Corporate secretarial coordination relating to investment holding companies What we look for Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or relevant disciplines At least 2 years relevant accounting work experience in the finance, accounting or private equity industry Self-starter who is detail oriented, very organized and proactive in executing responsibilities Demonstrate a strong risk attitude Enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and practical working experience with accounting software systems Work at GIC We are forward-looking and aim to attract the right people to help us become the Leading Global Long-term Investor.
