Bar Operations Manager
The primary objective of the Bar Operations Manager is to ensure smooth operation of all bar outlets in every aspect. This includes overseeing stock levels, staff scheduling, quality control, and maintaining a clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure sufficient stock availability across all outlets, schedule staff effectively, oversee operations, conduct monthly stock-takes, submit claims, and manage expenses to prevent wastage.
- Take charge of profitability for the bar operations.
Job duties are outlined below:
Specific Job Duties:
- Maintain open communication with F&B Operations Managers and Outlet Heads on operational matters.
- Inform and brief bar staff on objectives and expectations.
- Collaborate with Department Heads to rectify defects and address other concerns.
- Prepare weekly duty rosters and process staff claims.
- Monitor revenue from beverage and tobacco items against budget targets, develop strategies to achieve sales goals, observe staff performance, and make necessary corrections.
- Prepare annual performance appraisals for staff, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations.
- Handle customer complaints, bringing them to the attention of the F&B Operations Manager as necessary.
- Efficiently operate the POS system, ensuring accurate billing for Members' Chits.
- Lead by example and provide training to staff.
- Offer full support to Banquet and Events teams, as well as other F&B Outlets when required.
