The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, architecting and implementing end-to-end AI-driven solutions that enhance business intelligence, automate complex processes and drive innovation within the financial services sector. Responsibilities Lead the design, development and deployment of advanced AI/ML models, with a strong focus on Generative AI Application Development, to extract insights from large-scale, complex financial datasets Research and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques, including NLP, Deep Learning, and Predictive Modeling, to solve complex business problems Provide technical leadership in AI/ML projects, guiding them from initial prototyping and experimentation to full-scale production deployment Develop and document the overarching Architecture Blueprint and Design for AI-powered platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise standards Lead architecture-related tasks, including the design and implementation of scalable, secure and high-performance systems Architect and optimize data and ML pipelines for performance, scalability and reliability, integrating various technologies including Java for back-end services and React for front-end applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, business analysts) to ensure architectural standards and best practices are upheld Ensure all solutions adhere to data quality, governance, and compliance with financial regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, FINMA)Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field 5+ years of proven experience in a combined role involving AI/ML development and enterprise solution architecture, preferably within financial services Demonstrated experience in defining and executing an AI vision Generative AI Application Development: Hands-on experience in building and deploying Gen AI solutions Expert-level skills in Python and its core AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)Proven ability in Architecture Design, creating Architecture Blueprints, and Documenting Architecture Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)Nice to have Familiarity with financial data domains (e.g., market trends, risk modeling, customer analytics)Relevant certifications in AI/ML or cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified ML Specialty, Google Professional Data Engineer)We offer By choosing EPAM, you\'re getting a job at one of the most loved workplaces according to Newsweek 2021 & 2022&2023.
