We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst as our competitive and market intelligence specialist for our Global Marketing team. This position offers direct exposure to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), collaborating closely with all key marketing leaders (across Paid Media, Brand, Content, and Social) to provide a constant feed of market insights. Your ultimate goal will be to transform raw intelligence on competitor acquisition tactics, conversion paths, public perception, and macro industry trends into clear, strategic recommendations that drive our market advantage. You will champion a culture of data-driven thinking, acting as the primary market intelligence resource for the entire team, ensuring our strategies are both reactive to competitors and proactive toward the future. Key Responsibilities Conduct deep-dive analyses across the competitor landscape, rigorously evaluating their holistic campaign performance, social media presence, creative messaging, and media spending to uncover potential vulnerabilities and opportunities for us to scale. Proactively research and analyze broad market and industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and technological developments that impact the future of marketing, providing proactive strategic guidance to leadership. Determine the market drivers of our competitors' success, failures, and overall ROI. Leverage this data to craft strategic, data-backed recommendations that inform our overarching marketing investments and future strategy. Translate and articulate findings simply and persuasively, blending quantitative evidence with crucial qualitative context on both competitors and the future market to set strategic direction. Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards, visualizations, and reports that track key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) across the full marketing mix. Maintain expert knowledge of the latest competitive intelligence tools, techniques, and marketing industry best practices. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields. At least 4 years of working experience in a competitive intelligence, business analysis, or data analysis role. Demonstrated ability with competitive channel analysis and understanding of integrated/omnichannel competitor strategies. Proficiency in utilizing data visualization, analytical, and scraping tools to process large volumes of external market data. Strong experience working with data, analytical, or visualization tools. Demonstrated ability to approach problems logically and critically evaluate data. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain technical findings and strategic insights to the CMO and non-technical audiences. Candidates with ability to present in Mandarin to Chinese speaking audiences highly desirable.
