Project Coordinator Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to manage engineering projects from planning to execution. This role involves collaborating with end users, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
The successful candidate will have experience in coordinating with contractors to manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently within budget constraints. They will also assist in preparing tender specifications, project schedules, and evaluating submissions.
In this role, you will attend project meetings, resolve technical and operational issues, and propose effective solutions. You will oversee testing and commissioning of equipment and ensure smooth handover to end users.
A key responsibility of the role is to conduct detailed testing and commissioning of facilities and systems upon project completion. You will work closely with engineering and technical teams to develop and review specifications for existing facility systems.
Your focus will be on ensuring timely and quality completion of projects. You will verify and ensure proper submission of handover documentation, including as-built drawings and operation manuals. Accurate and timely project progress reports will be maintained for internal and client updates.
Requirements include a degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience. Proven track record in project management and technical coordination is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset are required. Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English are necessary. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is a must. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is required.
