We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in IT projects and a passion for aviation operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that aviation-related systems and processes meet operational and strategic goals. You will collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to analyze requirements, design workflows, and support the delivery of mission-critical aviation solutions Responsibilities Requirements Elicitation & Documentation Engage stakeholders to gather, define, and document detailed business and system requirements for aviation-related IT projects. Conduct workshops, interviews, and user story sessions with ATC, airline, and airport operations stakeholders. Business Process Modeling Analyze current and future-state business processes within aviation contexts. Develop process models (BPMN or UML) to visualize workflows and identify improvement areas. System Design & Functional Specifications Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with development teams on solution design. Validate system behavior against business expectations, focusing on aviation operational reliability and compliance. Software Developement Experience with testing and validation platforms for real time software applications and/ or safety critical systems Building and/or supporting cloud-native applications for virtualised and or containerised deployment Knowledge of Open Source tools within the domain, and COTS & Open Source Software evaluation Understanding of Security by Design concepts and implementation in Software Engineering Source Code Management and GitOps principles, pipeline automation Stakeholder Management Serve as the liaison between aviation operational teams and technical solution providers. Communicate project scope, deliverables, and timelines with clarity and confidence. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects, with a strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices. Experience in requirements elicitation, business process modeling, and system design documentation. Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
