About the role
An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a healthcare professional who provides emergency medical care to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations, often as part of an ambulance crew. They respond to emergency calls, assess patients' conditions, and provide medical interventions like administering oxygen or IV fluids while transporting patients to a hospital. EMTs are trained to handle a wide range of emergencies, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Medical Response
Crew Leader of Medical Transport Ambulance or EMT for Emergency Ambulance, supporting the Paramedic
Respond promptly to calls and provide immediate medical assistance at the scene
Assess the condition of patients who are injured or ill and determine the appropriate level of care required.
Administer pre-hospital treatment for stable patients.
Assist Paramedic in pre-hospital treatment for unstable patients
Ensure the safe and timely
