Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced classical ballet instructor to join our team in Singapore. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages and levels, from toddlers to adults.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's teaching experience in the RAD syllabus and possess a Dance Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field. They will also have excellent communication and management skills, as well as the ability to lead, groom, and direct junior dance instructors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and teaching stimulating classes in classical ballet
  • Leading and directing junior dance instructors
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering lesson plans and syllabi
  • Conducting teachers' meetings and updating syllabus work
  • Explainng and demonstrating proper techniques
  • Assisting students in developing their dance potential
  • Preparing students for yearly dance exams
  • Attending professional development programs to stay current with teaching methods and curriculum

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in events such as dance workshops and master classes, create choreography for annual student productions, and select accompanying music and coordinate costumes.

Requirements:

  • Min RAD Intermediate Certificate of Achievement or Dance Diploma, or performing experience with a professional dance company
  • Possess CBTS (RAD), Dance Degree qualifications and performing experience will be an advantage
  • Minimum 1 year(s) of teaching experience in RAD syllabus will be an advantage
  • Candidate must possess at least a Dance Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field
