Roles & Responsibilities This Job Role is being offered by Tsao Foundation. Please note that this position does not offer work visa sponsorship As a Physiotherapist, you play a crucial role in the healthcare team by addressing the physical challenges and limitations that often accompany ageing. Your role is also to enhance the overall well-being and functional independence of elderly individuals and work to address the physical challenges and limitations that often accompany ageing. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Evaluate clinical history and conduct client assessment for the participant, including physical, impairment-based assessment and relevant outcome measures. Develop client centred and SMART goals, treatment plans and implement these plans for participants and caregivers. Provide appropriate physiotherapy interventions and client education based on assessment, including: Conduct functional mobility training According to participant’s needs: Plan, conduct or supervise, and evaluate individual and group physical activity and exercise programmes, OR plan individual and group physical activity and exercise programmes for Programme Assistants (PA) and/or volunteers to conduct. Conduct education and training for caregivers. Conduct home therapy as required Assist in implementing new clinical services/ therapy. Participate in continuing education and research including delivering in-service training for staff and volunteers and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Maintain documentation of participant’s progress and outcomes of care. Other duties as directed by the HOP and/or Lead Therapist. Education/Professional Qualifications: Registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council. (Full Registration) Working Hours: 8am-1pm, Mon to Fri Working Location : Whampoa, Tiong Bahru and Home Therapy Personal Attributes and Functional/Technical Competencies: Personal attributes: Empathy & compassion, effective communication, adaptability, cultural sensitivity, multidisciplinary teamwork, and professionalism. Competencies: Fall prevention, Pain management, Mobility & functional independence. Experience in geriatric patients is preferred.
