What The Role Is
You will work with various stakeholders (business clusters, land planners, architects, engineers, facility managers) within JTC and Government agencies to plan, design, and develop new industrial estates for JTC, such as Jurong Innovation District, Punggol Digital District, Woodlands Northcoast, and one-north.
To ensure the estates' visions are met, you will conduct or participate in brainstorming, data gathering, evaluation, and implementation of innovative initiatives in new industrial estates. You will also be responsible for designing and developing the estates and providing project briefs to guide team members.
What You Will Be Working On
As the senior project manager, you will represent JTC as the Owner's Representative for the mixed-use industrial estate, managing consultants and contractors to safeguard JTC interests. Your responsibilities include:
Managing all infrastructure and building contracts within new estates;
Resolving technical and design issues with consultants and contractors;
Coordinating with government agencies on development issues;
Identifying potential construction or contractual disputes and providing solutions;
Ensuring quality tender documents with all necessary requirements;
Delivering buildings and infrastructure on time and within budget;
Being accountable for project schedule, safety, and site housekeeping;
Performing other administrative duties related to development.
What We Are Looking For
Candidates should have a background in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture, with at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in consulting or contracting firms. A team player with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal, and communication skills is preferred.
