Lead Legal Professional
As a highly experienced and accomplished legal professional, you will oversee all legal, compliance, and regulatory matters for our global gaming business.
Key Responsibilities
- Gaming Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Ensure compliance with regulations in multiple jurisdictions by conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing effective control measures.
- Oversee age-rating, content review, probability disclosure, and in-game purchase compliance to guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience for users.
- Monitor regulatory developments in online gaming and user protection to stay ahead of emerging trends and issues.
- Corporate & Commercial Legal
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements specific to gaming operations, including licensing agreements, partnerships, and other contracts.
- Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, equity financing, and shareholder matters to support the growth and success of our business.
- Develop and maintain standardized contract templates and playbooks to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Cross-Border Expansion & Transactions
- Lead the legal aspects of international expansion and entity setup, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with local regulations.
- Support M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships in the gaming industry, navigating complex legal frameworks and negotiations.
- Disputes & Risk Management
- Oversee dispute resolution for user complaints and platform issues, resolving conflicts efficiently and fairly.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks related to online content and monetization models, protecting our business from potential liabilities.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the in-house legal team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Build and manage relationships with external counsel across global gaming hubs, leveraging their expertise and networks to drive business success.
