Join to apply for the Principal Respiratory Therapist role at Sengkang General Hospital You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing advanced cardiorespiratory services to patients in the intensive care units and general wards. This includes initiating and titrating assisted ventilation, maintaining a range of ventilatory modes and ventilators, as well as performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and providing support in airway procedures. You will provide quality caregivers’ training and develop educational programmes for healthcare professionals. In addition, you will coach, mentor and supervise staff. You will also review the department’s procedures, workflows and policies for quality improvement. Responsibilities Provide advanced cardiorespiratory care to ICU and general ward patients, including initiation and titration of assisted ventilation and management of ventilatory modes and ventilators. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and support airway procedures as required. Deliver training for caregivers and develop educational programmes for healthcare professionals. Coach, mentor and supervise staff; contribute to quality improvements by reviewing procedures, workflows and policies. Qualifications Degree in Respiratory Therapy with at least 6 years’ relevant experience in large reputable hospitals and/or intensive care units Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated leadership abilities and commitment to promoting a positive work culture Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Self-motivated and passionate about delivering quality patient care Candidates with supervisory experience will have an advantage Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Health Care Provider Industries Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
