As a key leader within the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Product Engineering Media Health team, you will spearhead and develop a high performing team driving Media Health Manufacturing and activities for Micron’s latest HBM products, both on DRAM and Interface die and a stacked product. You will lead a portfolio of Next-Generation HBM Product focused on the critical KPIs: Quality, Cost, Cycle Time, and Scale. This includes leading the manufacturing test flow development and validation, improving device/stacked yield with optimized extrinsic and intrinsic reliability through in-depth circuit debug, test coverage optimization and strategy innovation, test time improvement for manufacturing flow, and driving the DFT (design for test) strategy to stage new ideas to improve cost, cycle time and quality. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams (Fab, Product Leads, Design, Technology Development, Design, Test Solution Engineering, etc.) with diverse expertise to achieve both strategic and tactical objectives and stay ahead on technology and product leadership.

Responsibilities

• Optimized Test Coverage: Ensure optimized test coverage on current and future HIG HBM design architectures and process nodes to maintain effectiveness and efficiency in high-volume manufacturing.
• Product Development and Validation: Develop, validate, characterize, and qualify Micron’s next-generation HBM products to ensure reliability and market readiness.
• Support for New Product Design Validation: Provide design verification support and in-depth circuit analysis using CAD tools and Verilog simulations.
• Yield Improvement and Cost Reduction: Improve manufacturing test yields (including device issues from DRAM, Interface, and Stacked Die yield), reduce test time, and resolve yield-related issues.
• Root Cause and Resolution of Manufacturing Test Flow Issues, Qual and RMA Device Issues.
• Promotion of Innovation: Drive changes that provide Micron with a technical advantage.
• Mentorship and Development of Others: Actively develop and mentor team members.
• Project Management: Develop project management skills within the team for efficient execution and timely delivery of solutions.
• Technical Decision Making: Make final decisions on risk analysis and project prioritization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams to ship end products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field. Product Engineering experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and technical skills, with proficiency in problem solving, root cause analysis, and circuit-level analysis.
• Good knowledge of statistics, data analysis tools, and scripting.
• Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to lead both team initiatives and technical programs.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams to address complex engineering problems.
• Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and professional work ethic.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passionate about people leadership and ongoing development in this area.
