Job Title: SAP BI & Data Engineer - Team Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP BI & Data Engineer to co-lead and manage our reporting team, ensuring the successful delivery of BI & Analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentorship and Guidance: Support the team lead and mentor the reports team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality BI & Analytics delivery.
  • BOBJ Administration: Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of reports using the SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) suite.
  • User Management: Manage BOBJ administration, including user management, security, folder grouping, and authorization management.
  • REST API Integrations: Develop and implement REST API integrations to enable seamless data exchange between BOBJ and other systems.
  • HANA ABAP CDS Views: Lead the development of HANA ABAP CDS views, ABAP RAP services, and SEGW Fiori Gateway services to support reporting needs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Web Intelligence Reports: Design and develop Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and dashboards to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Modeling: Perform Analytics CDS data modeling to generate meaningful insights from raw data.
  • Authorization Concepts: Implement CDS authorization concepts and SAP security mechanisms to ensure data governance and compliance.
  • Customization: Customize WebI report layouts to optimize user experience and accessibility.
