Primary Purpose The Manager, Supply Planning , is responsible for the end-to-end operational planning process, executing strategic sourcing direction, and analyzing global planning and costing data to support total cost optimization, vendor negotiations, and supply planning improvements. This role supports strategic sourcing decisions, optimizes vendor capacity, and drives process excellence to ensure timely delivery of high-quality samples, with the right Service Providers. The manager will champion the use of digital tools and data-driven insights to enhance planning & allocation accuracy, streamline workflows, and improve cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities Measure and analyze the sample order profile across the supply base and maintain alignment with the rough-cut capacity plan (RCCP). Collaborate with cross functional teams and regional offices to review product specifications and challenges, determine sample allocation to service providers, and ensure on-time delivery, optimal quality and cost efficiency. Analyze allocation outcomes to identify opportunities and improvement in the upcoming buy releases. Validate service providers’ capacities with production operation team support, partner with Supply Operations and Production Operations teams to balance actual orders and execute an agreed monthly production plan. Recommend product / sample transfers after careful consideration of capacity and capability constraints, landed cost, product mix, fill-rate priorities and responsible sourcing requirements to optimize sourcing decisions.
