Job Accountabilities

• Manage the Oil Operations (Clean products – Naphtha, Gasoil, Gasoline & Jet and LPG ) related to the execution of the commercial contracts - trade life-cycle generated by the Oil Trading Team, including but not limited to: set-up of documentary instructions & voyage orders; dealing with Inspection Companies
• Be the first point of contact for all internal communication and co-operation regarding the pertaining cargoes such as shipping, credit, etc.
• Promptly & accurately update the cargo positions via the company's trading system with all latest data regarding b/l dates, actual volumes etc., related costs etc.
• Maintain a good relationship with all office colleagues as well as external clients and counterparties
• Deal with "ad hoc" requests related to operations generated by the Trading Team.
• Ensure full compliance with internal controls as well as external/legal/sanction requirements:

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years Cargo Operational experience in either an Oil Trading company or Oil Major.
• A good understanding of shipping, charterparties, voyage orders & associated documentation, commercial contracts, letters of credit, invoice preparation.
• Prior experience managing a storage and or blending programme/position.
• Able to manage time sensitive information and activities.
• High standard written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of commercial contracts and the terminology associated with the oil industry.
• Strong facilitation, planning, organizational, analytical skills.
• Computer Literate.
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• A team player.
