Hardware Systems Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Systems Specialist to lead our team in designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the hardware systems of our automated parking facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Integration:
    • Automated barriers, turnstiles, sensors, and actuators for efficient and safe operation.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Hardware issues: motors, sensors, wiring, and power systems for optimal performance.
  • Embedded Control Systems:
    • Configure real-time operations for seamless interaction between hardware components.
  • Maintenance and Optimization:
    • Implement preventive maintenance schedules for enhanced system reliability.
    • Optimize system performance through continuous monitoring and analysis.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Rigid fail-safe mechanisms to ensure operator safety and system integrity.
  • Prototyping and Testing:
    • Develop new hardware solutions for improved performance and durability.

Requirements / Skills:

  • Proven experience in hardware design and troubleshooting in automated systems.
  • Expertise in sensors, actuators, motors, embedded controllers, and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong hands-on skills with multimeter, oscilloscope, signal analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Knowledge of power systems, UPS, backup management, and electrical safety protocols.
  • Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic for informed decision-making.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid driver's license (motorbike or car).
  • Willingsness to work varying shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Citizenship or PR status may be advantageous.
