Role Summary The Java Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services using Java-based technologies. The role requires strong experience in building microservices using Spring Boot and proficiency in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks. This is a 1 year renewable contract role. Core Responsibilities Develop and maintain microservices-based backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Ensure application performance, scalability, and security. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, etc.). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB). Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Strong problem‐solving and communication skills. Preferred / Nice‐to‐Have Skills Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium). Familiarity with security best practices in web development.
