Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lift Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of lifts across various locations.

  • This is a challenging role that requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of lifts, including routine checks and repairs as needed.
  • Respond to and resolve lift breakdowns promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless service continuity.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in lift systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Complete inspection checklists and maintenance records accurately, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with building management and customers on site issues or service updates, providing timely and courteous responses.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new lift systems when required, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • NITEC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Built Environment (Vertical Transportation).
  • Candidates with basic electrical knowledge are welcome to apply, as training will be provided to support their development.
  • Able to work on a 24/7 standby roster, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing operational needs.
