As the Disaster Recovery Manager at Toast, Inc., you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's disaster recovery plan to ensure the rapid recovery of critical IT systems and infrastructure in the event of a disaster or major outage. Your responsibilities will include implementing and updating disaster recovery policies, guidance, documentation, and systems. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans for Toast, including procedures for data backup and recovery, system failover, and infrastructure resilience.Additionally, you will conduct regular disaster recovery testing and exercises to ensure plan effectiveness and collaborate with IT and technology teams to ensure alignment of disaster recovery plans with infrastructure and systems. Providing training and awareness programs for IT staff on disaster recovery procedures will also be a key aspect of your role. During an actual disaster or major outage, you will manage and lead disaster recovery efforts effectively.To be successful in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a disaster recovery or resiliency management role at a fintech,
