Join to apply for the Part-Time Lecturer role at Nanyang Technological University Singapore . The School Of Social Sciences invites applications for Part-time Lecturers (PTLs). We are looking for PTLs who can contribute to teaching (conducting tutorials and assessments) in our school on Ethics and Civics. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach the following topics: Human rights, justice, and equality Meritocracy Political systems (Singapore, Southeast Asia)Multiculturalism Freedom of speech and responsibility Gender and diversity Key Responsibilities Attend lectures (online)Conduct tutorials and assessments for the assigned course Grade course assignments (including tests, quizzes, exam scripts)Work closely with the course coordinator to handle students’ queries on course-related matters Qualifications and Requirements A degree in social sciences, with specialization in political science and sociology; good knowledge of Singapore will be an advantage Demonstrable ability to teach the proposed topics on Ethics and Civics at the undergraduate level Able to tutor/lecture during office hours Interested applicants are invited to submit their applications by clicking the “Apply” button.
