CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER (FREIGHT FORWARDING)
ASPRESS SHIPPING (S) PTE LTD – Bukit Batok
Responsibilities
Attend to customer, agent enquiries & complaints
Prepare shipping documents for import/export
Assist in bill of lading (BL), certificates of origin (COO), cargo insurance
Co-ordinate & monitor shipment with carriers and clients
Process custom clearance & permit if needed
Cargo acceptance documentation
Support in all aspect of sales and operational activities
Assist in job closing and billing when required
General admin duties and other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirement
At least Nitec/Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Shipping or equivalent;
Good communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships (both internal and external);
Good problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure;
Well-organized, willing to learn, able to work in fast pace environment;
Able to work independently or in a team-based environment;
Proficient in MS Office applications, Portnet, Customs Permit;
At least 1 year of relevant experience in the import/export freight forwarding industry. Training is provided;
Bilingual in English, Mandarin to liaise with mandarin speaking associates;
Prior experience with freight/shipping customer service would be advantageous.
