Instagram @simplygood_sg Tiktok @simplygood_sg Role Overview As our Creative Strategist & Creator (Paid Ads)you will be responsible for research, scripting & conceptualising, filming, and editing video ads that drive high engagement and maximise Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) on performance marketing paid ads. You’ll work closely with our media buyer & the founder to produce short‐form video ads that convert. Key Focus: Creating high‐performance paid ad creatives for Meta (Facebook/IG) and TikTok. What You’ll Own: Research latest paid ad trends, creative formats, competitors, and best paid ads content. Creative research and content brief. Plan and execute A/B tests for hooks, visuals, captions, CTAs, and formats. Paid Ads Content Creation & Production: Script, shoot, and edit 5+ video ads weekly; deliver fresh, creative videos optimised for paid ads (Meta/Facebook/TikTok) – strong hooks, storytelling, direct‐response focus. Design 5+ static ads, direct‐response focus (using Canva, Photoshop, or similar). Film from home / off‐site / on‐site (if required) – create paid ads content independently – lifestyle, product demos, before vs after, educational content, day‐in‐the‐life style. Edit fast‐loading, high‐converting video ads using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools. Collaborate with external content creators and repurpose affiliate or customer content for ads. Creative Testing, Feedback & Performance Calls: Join weekly performance calls with the founder and media buyer (Monday: creative brief alignment; Friday: ad performance review). Maintain existing content tracker and iterate quickly based on data. Keep a running log of “Winning Hooks” and “Dead Creatives” to improve success rates over time. What We’re Looking For 3‐5 years of experience in paid ad content creation, performance marketing, or digital advertising (experience with eCommerce brands or DTC ads is a big plus). Experience creating direct‐response ads optimised for conversions (not just brand awareness). Strong understanding of paid ad creatives (what works for TikTok, IG Reels, Facebook) optimised for conversions. Experience in storytelling & viral content creation (knowing how to hook viewers in the first 3 seconds). Ability to self‐shoot and edit high‐quality videos. Strong proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar) and basic design tools (Canva, Photoshop).
