Base pay range $200.00/hr - $200.00/hr What You Will Be Doing Leverage your deep education product knowledge to guide critical strategic and architectural decisions Create comprehensive technical specifications that prioritize elegance, efficiency, and future scalability Pioneer the implementation of advanced generative AI technologies to revolutionize our engineering workflows and align with our vision of minimizing manual processes What You Won’t Be Doing Focusing solely on team management; your technical expertise and business acumen are what drive your value in this role Getting bogged down in bureaucratic processes; we've streamlined administrative overhead so you can focus on high-impact technical innovation Creating abstract strategies disconnected from implementation; your vision must be grounded in practical product-level understanding and execution Vice President Of Product Engineering Key Responsibilities Serve as the de facto CTO for our educational product portfolio, taking ownership of core technical competencies and driving measurable business outcomes through strategic execution and architectural excellence Basic Requirements Passionate expertise in data-driven learning science and its practical applications 7+ years making pivotal architecture and design decisions on software projects, including implementing sophisticated design patterns and integrating significant open source technologies 2+ years leading design initiatives that leverage cloud computing services (primarily AWS) 4+ years in positions with comprehensive technical and delivery ownership of revenue-generating products Demonstrated experience building product features that harness the advanced capabilities of Generative AI Proven success using Generative AI to optimize and streamline work processes About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be.
