Manager of Engineering Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s or MBA a plus). 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities. Hands-on experience with CAD, ERP/MRP systems, and manufacturing simulation tools. Solid understanding of industry-specific safety, quality, and regulatory standards. As our next Manager of Engineering, you’ll: Lead and develop a skilled engineering team—hiring, mentoring, and coaching for success. Own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems and processes. Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimization tools to drive efficiency and quality. Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and more. Ensure projects meet the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility. Lead capital and operational budget planning for the engineering function. The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $120,000 to $150,000 annually. Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including years of work experience, education/training, and other considerations permissible by law.
