Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Marketing Manager
to lead portfolio execution and performance across the (all positions are CASAJ.. pls correct)region for our Specimen Management business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in marketing principles, a strategic and commercial mindset, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional and country teams. This role requires a high level of initiative, resilience, and a proactive attitude—demonstrating a strong drive for results, openness to innovation, and the tenacity to overcome challenges. You will be accountable for driving revenue and gross profit growth, executing regional campaigns, and delivering impactful customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing and Leadership:
Own and drive revenue and gross profit (%SGP) targets across the region.
Develop and implement product and portfolio strategies grounded in core marketing principles—segmentation, positioning, value proposition, and messaging.
Create a blueprint for success and collaborate with country teams to tailor strategies to local market needs.
Manages all aspects of the marketing strategy for the assigned platform and in close alignment with the regional platform marketing leader; is responsible for developing and aligning marketing and business plans for the portfolio with key stakeholders.
Implements, and maintains "best practices" in brand marketing and product development marketing. This includes BD Way of Marketing and leveraging the BD Way of Selling.
Marketing Execution and Value Creation:
Lead the rollout of regional campaigns, initiatives, and marketing collaterals (digital and physical) to support strategy execution.
Design and deploy marketing solutions that address customer pain points and unmet needs—either independently or in collaboration with other portfolios or business units.
Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical societies, medical and lab associations, and instrument companies.
Work closely with global platform leaders, fellow marketing managers, HEOR, and Medical Affairs to ensure alignment and strengthen the value offering.
Partner with Supply Chain Management and Marketing Operations to ensure supply continuity and effective demand planning.
Work side-by-side with country teams to support execution, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
Marketing Intelligence and Growth Strategy:
Analyze monthly and quarterly performance data. Develop and share action plans to meet financial and strategic goals.
Track portfolio funnel progress, win/loss outcomes, and drive follow-through with country teams.
Keep abreast of CASAJ market trends and be the voice of customer (VOC) to the global product development planning process. Create/ validate business cases for new opportunities within the region, engage with the WW platform and applicable country teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Qualification and Skills
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Science, or a related field (MBA preferred)
8–10 years of marketing experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or diagnostics
Proven success in portfolio marketing, campaign management, and performance tracking
Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals across the product lifecycle
Experience working in a matrix environment with regional and local teams
Familiarity with Greater Asia markets is a plus
