Your Responsibilities
- Shipment Planning & Consolidation
- Plan and coordinate LCL shipments by consolidating cargo from multiple customers
- Optimize container space utilization while ensuring cargo compatibility and safety
- Work with co-loaders, warehouses, and internal teams to build efficient consolidation plans
- Booking & Coordination
- Arrange bookings with carriers or co-loaders for LCL shipments
- Confirm sailing schedules, routing, and cut-off times
- Identify and propose alternative schedules when required to meet customer deadlines
- Documentation & System Updates
- Create and maintain shipment files in the in-house system
- Prepare and verify shipping documents including House Bills of Lading (HBL) and manifests
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all documentation
- Warehouse & Cargo Handling Coordination
- Coordinate cargo receiving at warehouse/CFS (Container Freight Station)
- Ensure proper cargo labeling, packing, and segregation for consolidation
- Liaise with warehouse teams on stuffing plans and container loading
- Shipment Monitoring & Customer Service
- Track shipment status and vessel schedules
- Provide timely updates to customers on shipment progress, delays, or changes
- Handle customer inquiries and provide solutions to meet delivery requirements
