Overview Join our Procurement family where you will contribute to the defence and national security of Singapore by procuring state-of-the-art defence systems, goods and services. Under guidance and on-the-job training, the role will require you to: Work with users to understand their requirements, review specifications, formulate procurement approaches and strategies appropriate for the purchases. Prepare quotations/tender documentations. Conduct procurement processes of sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management in accordance with policies and guidelines to ensure transparency, fairness and value for money. Conduct market research and engage industries to understand supplier landscape and market supply conditions. Innovate and add-value to the procurement processes. Job Requirements Tertiary qualification in any discipline Knowledge in business, finance and government procurement will be an advantage Good interpersonal and communication skills Organised and meticulous Enjoys critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical work Able to work independently and in a team Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic environment Good project management skills Candidates with relevant working experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Procurement Manager Experience 0 ~ 5 years Job Type Full-Time Qualification Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent Working Hours Standard Hours Programme Centre / Entity PROCUREMENT #J-18808-Ljbffr
