Automation Systems Specialist Job Description

  • About the Role:
  • This role requires an experienced automation systems specialist to design and develop Siemens PLC systems for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • 1. System Design: Develop Siemens PLC systems using the TIA portal, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • 2. Project Execution: Manage and execute PLC projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
  • 3. Integration and Troubleshooting: Work with the Desigo CC system to integrate and manage building automation and control systems, providing effective on-site support and troubleshooting for PLC systems.
  • 4. Expertise and Collaboration: Leverage expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) or Process Control Systems (PCS) to support various projects and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in Siemens PLC engineering, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in using the TIA portal for PLC design, coding, and testing.
  • Experience with the Desigo CC system and BMS/PCS is highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications in Siemens PLC systems, BMS, or PCS, as well as in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
