WebMethods Integration Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced WebMethods Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our integration team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using Software AG's WebMethods suite.

This is a unique opportunity to work on complex integration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business processes for effective integration. You will create and maintain technical documentation related to integration design, development, and deployment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with WebMethods Integration Server, My WebMethods Server (MWS), JDBC Adapters, Messaging. They will also have a strong understanding of integration concepts, including EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture).

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes, ensuring optimal system performance. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Integration Solutions: Using WebMethods Integration Server, My WebMethods Server (MWS), JDBC Adapters, Messaging.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Gather requirements and understand business processes for effective integration.
  • Create Technical Documentation: Related to integration design, development, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Related to integration processes, ensuring optimal system performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong Hands-On Experience: With WebMethods Integration Server, My WebMethods Server (MWS), JDBC Adapters, Messaging.
  • Strong Understanding: Of integration concepts, including EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture).
  • Working Knowledge: In Splunk.
  • Development Knowledge: In B2B Trading Networks.
  • Proficiency: In web services, XML, XSLT, and other related technologies.
  • Experience: With designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP-based services.
  • Solid Understanding: Of relational databases and SQL.
  • Ability to Work Independently: And collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
