Quantity Surveyor - Exciting Career Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of our organization. You will be responsible for preparing sales orders and quotations, handling variation orders and progress claims, reviewing tender and contract documents, and performing other QS functions as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Sales Orders and Quotations: Prepare accurate and timely sales orders and quotations to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Handling Variation Orders and Progress Claims: Effectively manage variation orders and progress claims to minimize delays and optimize project outcomes.
  • Review of Tender and Contract Documents: Review tender and contract documents to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Building/Quantity Surveying or Related Studies: Possess a degree in building/quantity surveying or related studies from a reputable institution.
  • Local Construction Working Experience: Have at least 3 years of local construction working experience, preferably in a subcontractor firm.
  • Basic AUTOCAD Drawing Skills: Possess basic AUTOCAD drawing skills to effectively create and edit drawings.
