Job Description

This role is ideal for a skilled risk management professional who thrives in dynamic environments. As an Internal Risk Specialist, you will be part of our Enterprise Risk team and focus on client opportunities where your expertise can make a significant impact.

You will apply your knowledge and experience to shape our services and motivate your team. You will build valuable relationships with clients and develop strong capabilities through both formal training and working with senior mentors and talented colleagues.

The Opportunity:

About the Role

  • Executing Job Planning: Conduct research on client background and risks, propose tailored audit work programs, and coordinate with clients on kickoff meetings and other planning activities.
  • Executing Review: Perform testing of audit areas, complete work programs, conduct interviews with senior management, provide guidance to junior team members, review their work, schedule closing meetings with clients, communicate and discuss audit observations, and prepare closing meeting decks.
  • Reporting: Prepare draft and final reports after internal reviews, wrap up audit work programs, and assist in any other wrap-up activities.
  • Developing Productive Working Relationships: Develop strong internal relationships within EY Consulting Services and with other services across the organization.
  • Contributing to People Initiatives: Contribute to initiatives that continually develop interpersonal and technical skills of staff.

To Qualify for this Role:

  • A recognized Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • A minor in digital specialization if applicable.
  • At least 6 years of experience gained in internal auditing or line positions in commercial environments or big public accounting firms.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • International business experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team.
  • Willingness to travel on overseas assignments.
